The District 6 Class A football semifinals are set, with the Heritage Conference’s last two remaining teams both playing this weekend for the chance to face each other in the championship game.
On Friday night, second-seeded Homer Center will play host to Juniata Valley. The Wildcats held off Williamsburg on Friday, while the Hornets handled Portage on Saturday.
On Saturday night, 9th-seeded Purchase Line, which knocked off top seed Penns Manor on Friday, will travel to Altoona to tangle with 5th-seed Bishop Giulfoyle, a winner on Saturday over Conemaugh Valley.
