STATE SYSTEM FACULTY UNION VOWS TO “KEEP FIGHTING”

The union representing faculty at the State System of Higher Education says it will continue to fight retrenchment.

In the words of an APSCUF release, “This is not over.  We will keep fighting.”

APSCUF warns that Friday’s announcement of retrenchment, including 81 tenured professors at IUP, could be followed by retrenchment notices for non-tenured faculty members on or before December 1^st; second-year probationary non-tenured faculty members on or before December 15^th, and first-year probationary non-tenured faculty on or before March 1^st.
