The Indiana Junior High tech education program was recently recognized by a professional teachers’ organization for their work in improving the quality of instruction in technology and engineering education in Pennsylvania.
According to a news release, the school was awarded the Program Excellence Award from the Technology and Engineering Education Association of Pennsylvania. It is one of the highest honors given to tech and engineering programs in the state, and it also recognizes the outstanding contributions to technology and engineering education, high quality instruction that focuses on the students, and education that is relevant to the study and application of technological literacy.
The district credits its students and Technology Education Teachers Scott Herrington and Michael Dolges for their work in making the program a success.
