First responders were called out Thursday evening for a brush fire in Burrell Township.
Indiana County 911 reports that the fire was reported along Route 22 West at 6:09 PM. Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments were dispatched to the scene. Details on the fire have not been released. This marks the 58th brush fire of the year in Indiana County.
Other than that, Indiana County first responders had a relatively quiet day. Blairsville firefighters were dispatched to a location on North Liberty Avenue at 1:47 PM to assist EMT’s. And Indiana Fire Association was called out at 5:04 PM to help with traffic detail on Indian Springs Road in White Township.
