On Tuesday, officials with the federal Small Business Administration visited two businesses in Blairsville in an effort to meet with rural business owners.
SBA Office of Rural Affairs Director Daniel Nordberg and Mid-Atlantic Regional Administrator Steve Bugler visited The Villa Pub and Grill and HW Global Industries to talk about the Paycheck Protection Program and other ways the federal government can help small businesses during the Pandemic. Nordberg said that one thing he kept hearing from the business owners was that the Paycheck Protection Program was a great help during the Coronavirus crisis.
Sandra K. Habets, the president of HW Global talked about the importance of the visit by the SBA Officials.
The stop in Blairsville is one of several stops in Pennsylvania to listen to small businesses as they continue to deal with the business climate in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic.
