The Senior Legion baseball season was scheduled to get underway last night, but due to the extended play in the WPIAL playoffs for Indiana, the game for Homer City Post 493 was postponed.
The team will open the season June 6th at First Commonwealth Bank Field against Bushy Run.
There are three Indiana County-based teams playing in Senior Legion this season: Homer City, Blairsville, and Young Township.
YOUTH LEGION
The Youth Legion season cranks up tonight. After Homer City Post 493’s season-opening win over Armstrong on Monday, all eight teams see action tonight. Marion center visits Homer City, Brookville is at SW Jack, Kovacik insurance travels to Mahoning Valley, and Young Township is at Armstrong.
