Earlier today, the two candidates running for the 41st PA Senate seat met to debate the issues at Renda Broadcasting’s studios.
The two candidates running for the seat are the Republican Incumbent Joe Pittman and Democratic Challenger Tony DeLoreto. Among the topics discussed was the shutdown of businesses during the Coronavirus pandemic. Pittman said that Wolf’s shutdown of businesses hurt Pennsylvania, and said the inconsistency and lack of engagement with the legislature was the biggest concern.
DeLoreto agreed with Pittman that not everything was done right, but no one knew quite how to handle the situation.
Other topics covered during today’s debate included the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, property taxes, and funding education at both the collegiate and local level.
