Another person on the State Police’s Five Most Wanted list is now in custody.
State Police from the Indiana barracks reported that James E. Emerson of New Florence was apprehended during a traffic stop on Route 22 in Indiana County last night. He is now in Indiana County Jail awaiting his preliminary arraignment. He was placed on the list for felony charges of failure to comply with Meghan’s Law for a violation that happened earlier this year in Indiana.
Three others remain on the Five Most Wanted list, including:
- 36-year-old David Finch of Altoona, who is wanted on a charge of felony criminal trespass in Strongstown.
- 35-year-old Jonathan J. Shetler of Saltsburg, who is wanted on a charge of felony receiving stolen property in Saltsburg earlier this year.
- 39-year-old Tasha M. Wennick of Strongstown, who is wanted for a 2020 count of Criminal Trespass in Strongstown.
