PITT BASKETBALL
Pitt basketball coach Jeff Capel pulled off a big recruiting coup yesterday with the announcement that 6-10 four-star prospect Papa Amadou Kante has committed to the Panthers. Kante had signed his letter of intent in November to join the University of Michigan, but last month he requested and received his release from the Wolverines.
Kante announced his commitment to Pitt on his Twitter account. He has not signed his papers yet for Pitt.
Capel still has one scholarship available for this year’s roster.

Former IUP basketball player Nolan Burk has committed to play for the College of Wooster in Ohio. Burk is a 6-7 forward out of Bishop Carroll in Ebensburg,
