Pitt men’s soccer has assumed control of the top spot in the United Soccer Coaches poll. It’s the first time in the program’s history they have been ranked number one in the nation. The 4-and-0 Panthers will visit Louisville on Friday.
PENN STATE FOOTBALL
Penn State coach James Franklin confirmed yesterday that star running back Journey Brown has a medical condition that could cause him to miss the season, but he did not say what that condition is. Franklin said Noah Cain and Devyn Ford will step in for Brown. Franklin said he is “a big believer that (Brown’s) experiences throughout his entire life equip him with all the necessary tools to battle this situation.”
