Minkah Fitzpatrick had a pick-six in the first quarter to give the Steelers a lead, as they defeated the Browns, 38-7, to remain unbeaten at 5-0.
The Steelers are off to a 5-0 start for only the second time in franchise history and first since 1978. It was also the Steelers’ first win against a team with a winning record this season. The Steelers have scored at least 26 points in each of their first five games for the first time in franchise history.
The Steelers defense allowed the Browns to convert just 1 of 12 third downs and none of their three fourth-down attempts. The Steelers held the Browns to just 75 rushing yards.
James Conner ran for 101 yards and a score. Chase Claypool turned in another strong game with four receptions for 74 yards.
Steelers linebacker Devin Bush suffered a knee injury and is expected to miss the rest of the season.
