Negotiations continued on Friday between the State System of Higher Education and the union representing its faculty.
According to a joint news release, both sides met yesterday and discussed continuing education, leave issues and issues connected with the recent consolidation. No agreement has been reached on a new faculty contract to replace the one that expires at the end of June. The next negotiation session is coming quickly, as it is scheduled for next Tuesday, May 23rd. This marks the third faculty negotiation session for PASSHE and APSCUF in a ten-day span.
Meanwhile, negotiations will continue in early June between PASSHE and APSCUF over the coaches’ contract. That contract will also come to an end on June 30.
