State police say they have a suspect in a recent theft at the White Township Walmart. Police have charged 25-year-old Dylan Bolen with shoplifting after an incident at the Walmart on Oakland Avenue on Tuesday, October 6th at 9:42 PM. Police did not say what Bolen tried to take in the incident.
State police have charged a Monroeville man with DUI after he was pulled over in Burrell Township. Troopers say at 6:37 AM on September 5th, 20-year-old Aloysius Williams was pulled over by police in the 7100 block of Route 119. He was found driving under the influence of some on-view drugs.
State police are looking for a suspect in a case where someone stole a package from a home in Clymer. Troopers say the theft happened on October 6th at the home of a 52-year-old Clymer woman in the 900 block of Sage Street. Police searched the area, but could not turn up a suspect or the box that was taken from the woman. Police said the package contained a DVD stand valued at $21. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-357-1960.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on Route 22 in Burrell Township Wednesday afternoon. State police did not identify either driver in the report. The driver of a Ford F-250 Pickup Truck was distracted by the GPS app on his cell phone and ran a red light, colliding with a Mercedes-Benz at the intersection of Route 22 and Lintner Road. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene after the crash. The pickup truck driver was charged with driving without required financial responsibility.
