Indiana cruised by Knoch, 5-0 yesterday at home. Allie Rutledge scored two goals, and Bella Antonacci, Sophia Garzarelli, and Margaret Lowery each scored one. Ella Myers and Rutledge both had assists.
The JV game ended in a 1-1 tie, with Marina Conjelko scoring for Indiana.
GIRLS GOLF
Indiana girls golf coach Elmer Bland says he was impressed all season long by his seniors, who concluded their high school careers this week at the WPIAL AAA golf championships. Peters Township won the event. Indiana finished 8th in its first-ever appearance in the championships.
Indiana set records this year with for team low score (twice), its best WPIAL section record at 8-2, its best overall dual match record, 11-2, and it opened the season with eight straight dual match wins. Each player in the top five has a personal best match score this season.
