Traffic on Route 119 near Homer City was tied up for over an hour this morning after a three vehicle crash near the intersection of Routes 119 and 56.

The crash was reported at 10:15 this morning by Indiana County 911. Homer City fire and police departments along with the State Police were dispatched to the scene at that time, with the county HAZMAT team called in 30 minutes later, and Coral-Graceton Fire Department was called in at 10:53 AM to provide traffic control.
Fire chief Terry Gardner described how the accident happened.
Gardner said that there were no injuries reported in the crash. He did add that crews took extra time at the scene because of the debirs.
Crews were on the scene for over an hour before the crash site was cleared and the road reopened.
