On Monday night, the Center Township Supervisors approved a fundraising event that will be held at Lucerne Park in Lucernemines.
The supervisors approved “Midtoberfest”, which will be held on October 17th from 5-10 PM. Greg Jones, a Homer-Center alumni currently living in Homer City, said that the event will raise money for Homer-Center athletics.
Tickets for the event are available at Sanso’s and will cost $10. The event is limited to 200 people.
In other business, the supervisors set Trick or Treat times for Center Township. Trick or Treating will be held from 6-8 PM on October 31st. Supervisors are reminding everyone who wants to give out treats to turn their porch lights on that night, and if you are heading out, please be careful to use your own judgement when it comes to Covid-19.
