After a week of virtual instruction, Homer-Center high school will return to five-day in-person instruction on Monday.
The school had made the shift to virtual education for the high school after four students had tested positive for Covid-19 and several others had quarantined. While students were out, the school went through deep cleaning and sanitization procedures. After the announcement was made on September 25th to go to virtual learning, the Homer-Center/Marion Center Football game was cancelled.
As of this morning, the district is reporting no confirmed active cases of Covid-19.
Students who were issued a district electronic device to take part in remote learning activities are being reminded by Principal Jody Rainey to bring the device with them on Monday, along with the charging cable, and to make sure that the device is fully charged.
