After another Tennessee Titans player tested positive for coronavirus, the NFL postponed the Steelers/Titans game scheduled for this Sunday to an unspecified date later in the season. The league says it will announce the rescheduled date “shortly”. Five Titans players have the virus and there are also several others in the organization with it.
Coach Mike Tomlin said he was disappointed, but they will move forward with an unexpected bye this week.
The Steelers are scheduled to play October 11th at Heinz Field against the Eagles.
Linebacker T.J. Watt has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Month for September.
Former Steelers wide receiver/special teamer Ryan Switzer was signed yesterday to the Cleveland Browns practice squad.
