INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
A Downingtown man was arrested yesterday and now faces drug charges from an incident last March. Indiana borough Police say on March 23rd around 9:03 PM, Dylan Harris was in the 700 block of Locust Street and was in possession of six grams of cocaine that he wanted to sell. When police made contact with Harris, he tried to discard the cocaine, but threw it at the feet of an Indiana Borough Police officer. An arrest warrant was issued on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with evidence. He was taken into custody on Sunday and taken to Indiana County Jail to be arraigned in front of District Judge Guy Haberl.
Indiana Borough Police are looking for someone responsible for some criminal mischief at the Indiana Borough Parking Garage over the weekend. Police say that between Noon on Saturday and 10:33 PM on Sunday, someone broke into a car and ransacked the glove compartment, with its contents scattered across the passenger side front seat. State Police have charged an Armagh woman with theft from a sub shop in Armagh borough. The incident happened on January 24th and in the commission of the crime, 30-year-old Elizabeth Wylie of Armagh rang up four subs, and cleared the screen of sale, but pocketed the $25.60. Charges were filed through District Judge Jennifer Rega’s office.

A Blairsville teenager faces a charge of aggravated assault for an incident last Wednesday in Derry Township. State Police from the Greensburg Barracks say a 17-year-old Blairsville boy was in a verbal argument with his father, who was not named but identified as a 41-year-old Blairsville man. The teen took a nearby sword and stabbed his father in the abdomen area with the sword. The father suffered superficial injuries.
