LOCAL FIREFIGHTERS ANSWER SATURDAY, EARLY SUNDAY CALLS

First responders have had a relatively quiet weekend so far.

Indiana firefighters were dispatched for a physical rescue along Hartman Drive on Saturday afternoon.

Rossiter was sent for a smoke investigation along Hill Street and Plumville was also summoned for a smoke investigation, in Armstrong County early this morning. 

Indiana firefighters responded to an accident scene along Lucerne Road in White Township shortly before 2:30 this morning.

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
