IUP’s Bachelor of Science nursing degree program has been ranked one of the top nursing programs in the state by Registerednursing.org
IUP ranked #17 in the listing, which focuses on how well the program supports students towards getting their license. This includes past and present results on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses, or the NCLEX-RN exams and how many pass that exam. IUP has a pass-rate of 93% for that exam, compared to an average 87% for across the state and across the nation.
Website editors say that IUP’s program gives students clinical opportunities in many different settings, giving them a wealth of experience that will make them attractive to employers.
