Two wins in a row for the Pirates after another one-run squeaker last night over the Cubs. Greg Brown has the story.

Manager Derek Shelton was happy to seek Trevor Williams get it together on the mound.
Williams has been impressed with rookie third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes, who he says has fit right in with the Bucs.
Williams says the Pirates’ rotation is starting to show what it’s capable of, even though it’s a little late in the season.
The Bucs’ Chad Kuhl takes the mound in what is also the home finale at PNC Park. Airtime is 1:10 on WCCS, with the first pitch at 1:35.
The Tampa Bay Rays clinched the AL East title with an 8-5 win over the Mets in New York last night. It’s their first division title since 2010.
Six of the eight American League playoff spots have been determined. The Rays and A’s have clinched their divisions, with the Central yet to be decided. The Yankees, Twins, White Sox, and Indians are all in.
In the National League, the Dodgers and Braves have clinched their divisions. The Cubs and Padres are in, but there are still four spots still open.
