Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt is the AFC Defensive Player of the Week. Watt recorded four tackles and two-and-a-half sacks in the Week Two win over Denver. He is tied for the league lead in sacks through two games.
David DeCastro was a full participant in practice yesterday and could be back to make his first start of the season on Sunday against Houston. Receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster and Diontae Johnson and nose tackle Tyson Alualu were held out because of minor injuries, but are expected back at work today.
Ben Roethlisberger will set the all-time Steelers’ career record for games played on Sunday, surpassing Mike Webster in making his 221st career appearance. It will be his 219th start.
