POLICE REPORTS: THEFT, HIT AND RUN, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE

Indiana Borough Police are investigating a theft that happened sometime between September 18^th and 19^th.  Police say that a resident in the 300 block of South 6^th Street reported that his laptop computer was taken from his property.  The laptop is described as a Macbook Pro in a tan carrying case.  Anyone with information is asked to call Indiana Borough Police at 724-349-2121.

There’s no word on any injuries in a hit-and-run collision in the 1400 block of Water Street that happened Tuesday morning.  Indiana Borough Police say that at 8:30 AM, a white Chrysler Minivan was hit by another vehicle, and that second vehicle did not stop to provide information.  The other vehicle is believed to be a black SUV, last seen going west through the intersection of 15^th and Water streets.  Anyone with information is asked to call police.

Police are looking for the person or persons responsible for a food-related case of criminal mischief.  Police say that someone damaged a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Wayne Avenue by placing a piece of cheese on the hood between 7:00 PM on the 21^st and 5:30 PM on the 22^nd.   If you have any information on the incident, you are asked to call police at 724-349-2121.
