INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police are looking for the drivers responsible for a pair of hit-and-run crashes over the last two days. The first one was between 9 AM and 3:30 PM on Monday. That’s when a blue-colored Chevrolet Cruze was hit by another vehicle while parked in the 1200 block of Oakland Avenue. The person that hit the car did not report the accident and fled the scene. The other crash happened yesterday between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM in the 100 block of North East Avenue. A parked black utility trailer was damaged when another vehicle struck it in the northbound lane. Anyone with information on the crashes is asked to call borough police at 724-349-2121

State Police are investigating a burglary that happened at a church in Blairsville. This happened on Tuesday morning, around 4:50 AM. Two suspects were able to make entry into the Hopewell Methodist Church using a side door. No items were reported to be taken from the church, and no suspects have been identified. Police are saying that one of the burglars was a man, and the other a woman, and they left the scene in a white or cream-colored Subaru Forester.
