Indiana Fire Crews were busy earlier this morning as a small fire broke out at an apartment at the intersection of North 8th and Oak Streets.
The call went out to fire crews around 1:00 this morning, but first on the scene were police officers who were able to knock down the small fire using fire extinguishers, according to Indiana fire officials. Fire crews assisted with keeping the fire from spreading and cleaning up afterwards.
None of the tenants were hurt, and the damage was so minimal, everyone was able to go back to their apartments afterwards. The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
