Indiana County’s Covid-19 case count has taken another jump.
The number of total cases of Covid-19 for Indiana County since mid-March is now 568. Fifteen new cases were reported on Wednesday, representing a jump of 2.7 percent from the previous day. This marks the second day that the number of new cases in the county was in the double-digits as the number went up by 19 on Tuesday. The number of confirmed cases in Indiana County as of Wednesday is now 522.
The number of deaths also increased by one and is now at 12 deaths since mid-March. This marks the first increase in deaths since September 7th.
The PA Department of Health is also reporting that there have been 8,224 negative tests for Covid-19 in Indiana County.
As far as Coronavirus across the state, there have been 142,666 confirmed cases reported, and 4,324 probable cases reported with 7,903 deaths. There have also been 1,708,131 negative tests reported.
