As Indiana Area School District reports their first case of Covid-19 among students, Homer-Center School District has reported its second case among their teachers.
As of this morning, Homer-Center has one active case of Covid-19 in an Elementary School Teacher. Superintendent Curtis Whitesel said that the first case was from a student teacher.
Whitesel said that the student teacher has been cleared to return, and the elementary teacher will officially be cleared the middle of this week, but Whitesel has asked the teacher to continue to work from home until the end of the week and return next Monday, giving them extra time to rest and recover.
