At the Indiana Country Club yesterday, the Indiana girls golfers remained undefeated with a 26-stroke victory over Hollidaysburg, while the boys rebounded from their first loss of the season, downing Latrobe by 25 strokes.
For the 6-0 girls, Sydney Brice and Sara Kane were co-medalists, each shooting 46. Jenny Todd shot a 49, Ally Conrad a 51, and Addie Raykes a 58. They’ll play again Monday in a tri-match with Punxsutawney and Kane at the Punxsy Country Club.
The boys were led by medalist Trevor Todd. The freshman shot even-par 36. Zach Eisenhower fired a 39. Alex Holuta and Harrison Martineau each shot 40. Jack Fischer had a 45 in his first varsity action of the year.
The boys will play four of their final six regular season matches on the road, starting with a rematch next Thursday at Penn Trafford, which handed the Indians their first loss of the year on Wednesday.
