ROADWORK INCLUDES BUSY SCHEDULE OF PATCHING THROUGHOUT COUNTY

PennDOT’s schedule for Indiana County roadwork this week includes ongoing patching on Route 22 in East Wheatfield and West Wheatfield townships, on Route 85 between Plumville and Home, and on Route 119 in Rayne and East Mahoning townships.

Patching is also scheduled on Route 286 in Green Township, on Allen Bridge Road and Airport Road in Cherryhill, Rayne, and White townships, on Rayne Church Road in Rayne Township, and on Creekside Road and Five Points Road in Washington Township.

RT 22 BIKE-PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE

The long-awaited bike-pedestrian bridge across Route 22 is now open! What do you think?

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
