At their meeting Tuesday night, the White Township Planning Commission gave preliminary approval to a preliminary major subdivision on Lutz School Road.
Eleven lots are part of the subdivision plan from Leo Kay, and those lots will be used for a residential area for single-family homes. According to Assistant Township Manager Chris Anderson, final approval of the subdivision plan will come once the planning commission receives utility and storm water plans, permits from PennDOT, and a street profile with layouts. Once that final land development package is received, it will be put up for final approval. Anderson said it has been several years since the township has seen a major subdivision come before the planning commission.
In other business, the commission approved a final minor subdivision for Betty Jobe on Zehner Road for two lots. One lot will consist of her home and outbuildings, while the other will be a side lot addition for Uriah Miller. And a final minor subdivision was approved for Tom Huff of Fenton Road, where he will acquire .179 acres from Frank Lewis.
