Five fire companies were dispatched this morning for a house fire on Campbell Road in Burrell Township.
Indiana County 911 reports that the call went out at 1:45 this morning for Black Lick, Blairsville, Homer City, Coral-Graceton and Clyde Fire departments for a home at 230 Campbell Road. Black Lick fire officials say that when they got there, they found all the occupants got out of the house, and the fire was in the rear of the building. The fire was contained to the back of the house and to the roof, but crews were able to get a quick knock down. Officials believe the fire started in the exterior of the house.
No injuries were reported. The family living there is being assisted by the Red Cross. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and the State Police Fire Marshals have been called in to investigate.
