BURRELL TOWNSHIP
A Blairsville woman has been charged with making terroristic threats and victim/witness intimidation after an incident last Monday morning in Burrell Township.
24-year-old Autumn Mae Everett is accused of calling a 22-year-old Blairsville man and threatening to harm him the next time he left his house because of charges from a previous incident.
There are no online criminal docket sheets involving Everett that indicate what the prior incident is.
WEST WHEATFIELD TOWNSHIP
State police are investigating a weird case in West Wheatfield Township, and apparently it is not an isolated incident.
Two women who live along Front Street in Robinson report finding thick slices and pieces of ham roast on their properties near the street. The women both own several dogs and one of them suspected that the meat was tainted with antifreeze in an attempt to poison the dogs, but police say there is no evidence of that, and no dogs came in contact with the ham. A baked potato was also found nearby.
One of the women consulted her veterinarian and was told that there have been similar incidents across the Conemaugh River in the Bolivar area.
Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 357-1960.
