A Johnstown woman was arrested on drug charges Friday night after a traffic stop near the intersection of Routes 56 and 711 in East Wheatfield Township.
State police say 25-year-old Kaitlyn Marie Krise is charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, and false identification to law enforcement. She was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for an expired registration. The trooper noticed the smell of burnt marijuana coming from the passenger compartment and Krise provided a false name to the trooper when asked for identification. During a search, the trooper discovered 260 multi-colored Ecstasy pills in her purse and further investigation revealed that Krise intended to sell them.
Krise was taken into custody and placed in the Indiana County Jail to await arraignment. Police do not identify the driver of the vehicle or say if anyone else was in it. They also do not say if anyone else will be charged.
