On Wednesday night, Clymer Borough Council approved promoting officer Adam Lewis to full time status.
After the meeting, Lewis was sworn in by Mayor Christina King. Lewis talked about what he looked forward to in his new position.
Council also accepted with regret the resignation of officer Ryan Killeen.
In other business, it was announced by Borough Manager Sonya Schrenkel that Calvary Baptist School will have a field trip into the borough to do community service projects for their community day on May 12th. They will be doing some projects like planting flowers and weeding at borough parks and picking up litter on local trails.
