State police are investigating a shoplifting case at the White Township Walmart. Police say that a trooper was dispatched on August 22nd around 6:27 PM for the incident. The suspect, who was described only as a man, stole a JVC Car Radio-DVD player, took it out of its original packaging and put it in a bag he carried in with him. He then went by the registers and out of the store without paying for it. He then allegedly left the scene in a blue Lincoln sedan.
State Police are investigating a theft from a porch in Clymer. Troopers say that between August 28th and September 1st, someone took a wooden stand, a plastic horse and a high chair off the front porch of a home on Sherman Street. The items belonged to a 33-year-old Clymer woman. A search of the area yielded no results.
