The Indiana School Board held its Act 34 hearing concerning the Eisenhower Elementary project on Monday night.
Members of the public were able to ask questions on the project itself. The project will include a new gym and cafeteria, and additional classrooms for life skills classes, and an Arts and STEAM classroom. The school itself will double in size from around 30,000 square feet to about 60,000 square feet, according to Anthony Shinsky with Buchart Horn Architects.
The district has set the maximum project cost at $23,467,098, and is expected to be put out for bid in early to mid-July of this year.
