The Indiana Senior High School has once again made a massive contribution to the Teddy Bear Fund Drive with their donation of $14,000.
On Indiana in the Morning this morning, Indiana High School’s Student Government made the donation on behalf of the students of the school and as SGA Advisor Michael Bertig announced, it was the effort of the SGA’s President Mia Spadafora, Treasurer Lauren Bertig and secretary Trajean Jones that made their efforts successful.
This makes the fourth consecutive year that Indiana High School has come forward a donation of at least $10,000. Mark Bertig, Chairman of the Teddy Bear Fund Drive, says that the donation is very impressive, especially with all the worthy causes that are out there.
The Teddy Bear Fund Drive is Renda Broadcasting’s Charitable effort to raise money for IRMC’s Pediatrics and Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. If you wish to make a donation for this year’s fund drive, you still have a chance to do so by dropping your donation off at the station. There are also other events to be held for the fund drive in the next few weeks, including the third annual Teddy Bear Fund Drive trivia night at the Indiana Eagles Lodge on February 23rd.
