FIREFIGHTERS SUMMONED FOR WEEKEND ACTION

Emergency dispatches this weekend have included:

An EMS assisted for Aultman firefighters along Old Route 56 in Center Township on Saturday afternoon.
Clymer firefighters answered a call for utility lines down along Dixon Road in Clymer Borough.
Plumville was dispatched for traffic control at the Route 210/Route 954 intersection in Trade City.
Armagh/East Wheatfield firefighters responded to a vehicle fire along Stutzman Road in East Wheatfield Township.
Commodore was sent for traffic control along Barr Slope Road/Route 403 North in Green Township.
Blacklick and Blairsville answered an automatic alarm along Innovation Drive in Burrell Township.
And Indiana firefighters and Citizens Ambulance were dispatched for an accident along Maple Street in Indiana Borough at 2:24 this morning.

The long-awaited bike-pedestrian bridge across Route 22 is now open! What do you think?

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!

I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.

I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)

It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.

Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.

It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
