Dustin Johnson fired a final-round, eight-under 63 to cruise to an 11-shot victory at the Northern Trust at TPC Boston. Johnson finished at 30-under par for the four days. Harris English was second at 19-under, one shot ahead of Daniel Berger. Johnson now leads the FedEx Cup standings with the start of the BMW Championship on Thursday at Olympia Fields, Illinois.

Scott Dixon figured he had enough car to run down Takuma Sato at the Indianapolis 500 yesterday. Dixon was cruising in second place and ready to make his move when Spencer Pigot crashed with four laps remaining, and IndyCar officials did not throw the red flag for a stoppage, allowing the race to finish under caution and Sato to win his second Indy.
A day after Denny Hamlin won a NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover to surge into a tie with Kevin Harvick for the most wins this season, Harvick retook the lead with his seventh win this year. It was Harvick’s 56th career Cup Series win, tying him with Kyle Busch for ninth all-time.
