A nice troll of East Stroudsburg’s sports information department by IUP Athletics yesterday: After Fox Sports posted a picture of five legendary Division One coaches and asked who a five-star recruit would rather play for, ESU tweeted, “We might be biased, but “ESU Coach Scott Wilson) seems like a pretty good choice,” listing his three PSAC championships, an appearance in the Elite Eight, and a Division Two Coach of the Year honor in 2014.
IUP responded with a tweet of its own: “Cough cough…we’d like to throw Coach Lombardi’s name into the ‘conversation’”.
