A crowd of more than 100 people packed the sidewalk in front of the Indiana Borough offices on North 8th street to protest the proposed mask ordinance that was on the agenda for Tuesday Night’s Indiana Borough Council Meeting.
The rally was organized by Deborah Shreckengost, who said she felt the mask ordinance went against the constitutional rights and that people should be able to police their own health. She also said that she was worried that the masks would give a green light to criminals.
Greg Hartnett of Homer City said that people should be speaking out when they feel their constitutional rights are violated.
The rally did force police to block off a portion of North 8th Street so people could attend safely.
