The previously delayed bridge replacement project on Main Street/Jacksonville Road (State Route 3016) in Homer City and Center Township is set to begin tomorrow. The existing bridge over Two Lick Creek will be replaced by a two-span, composite, concrete beam bridge.
The project will require the closure of the road between the intersection West Indiana Street and Riverside Drive through the end of November. The detour will use Main Street, West Elm Street, Old Route 56, and Jacksonville Road.
The $2 million project is scheduled for completion in November.
