Catherine Inez McCormick, 72, Creekside, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020, at her home.
The daughter of Robert and Mary Stanley, she was born November 3, 1947, in Wichita, Kansas.
Catherine was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden, NJ.
She was employed through the years as a bank teller and an electronics technician. She later retired from her husband’s business, CJ Mac Lawncare, where she was co-owner and operator for 25 years. She loved sewing, crafting, gardening, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family and beloved cats. Catherine will be remembered as a loving stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She embraced everyone she knew with peaceful love, and her laugh, smile, and joy for life will not be forgotten.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Charles (Chuck) McCormick; stepdaughter Jennifer (Daniel) Murphy; stepsons David (Chris) McCormick, Jeffrey McCormick, and Charles McCormick III, all of N.J.; brothers, Robert Stanley, N.J.; James Stanley, PA; and sister, Barbara Roman, CA; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother; and brother-in-law, Thomas R. McCormick.
Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
