Jared Jones was outstanding for Altoona, and Travis McGregor and Noe Toribio were just as good as the Curve scored twice in the 7th inning to top Bowie, 2-1. Lolo Sanchez scored from third on an errant Baysox throw on Drew Maggi’s bunt, then Liover Peguero lifted a sacrifice fly to score Andres Alvarez with the game-winning run. Jones struck out five over five-and-a-third innings, then McGregor worked 2-and-two-thirds to earn the win and Toribio threw the 9th to get the save.
Game 4 of the series is tonight, with Sean Sullivan pitching for the Curve.
