Medical helicopters were at FMC Sports complex last night after a Graceton man was injured while mowing the grass there.
The man was identified as Dave King, a volunteer at the field, who suffered a serious but non-life threatening injury while working at the 50-acre sports complex. Just before 9:00 PM last night, he accidently put his hand in the bagging unit of the mower to clean it out while the mower blades were still moving.
He was life-flighted to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment of injuries to his hand.
A video interview with Homer City Area Athletic Booster Club President Matt “Mookie” Wilson at the scene can be viewed on the WCCS Facebook page.
