The Heritage Conference today postponed its 2020 football media day, which was to take place tomorrow at United’s Thomas J. Madill Football Field.
The announcement comes in the wake of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s comments today, in which he recommended that no high school sports be played until Jan. 1. The PIAA is yet to make any decision or statement regarding that recommendation.
“We will revisit this item should we feel it necessary,” said Craig Gindlesperger, WestPAC Secretary about the possibility of rescheduling the media day.
The conference, together with the WestPAC, every year holds a joint media day involving all the teams of the two conferences. Coaches attend with a select two or three players from each team.
