This afternoon, Citizens’ Ambulance Service received a sizeable donation towards an on-going campaign.
Officials with Citizens’ were presented with a $10,000 check from InFirst Bank that will go towards the Jo-Jo Challenge.

The check was presented during an outreach event Wednesday morning at IRMC Park. During the event, area residents had the opportunity to become members of the service and make their donation, which would be matched by two anonymous donors.
Citizens’ also had equipment on display and according to Michael Dunn, senior operations manager, it’s important that the service can get out and interact with the public in this way.
A second event is scheduled for April 26th at IRMC Park.
