The Pennsylvania average gas price went down over the last week, as did Indiana County’s average.
Across Pennsylvania, the average cost of a gallon of gas is $2.41 a gallon. That’s a penny less from last week at this time, two cents from a month ago and a 47-cent decrease from last year at this time.
Indiana County’s average cost is $2.45 a gallon, down three cents from last week at this time. Gas prices in Indiana and Shelocta remain above the county average at $2.49 a gallon. In Homer City, gas prices are eight cents cheaper at $2.41 a gallon. They are even cheaper in Burrell Township with gas prices on Route 22 at $2.38 a gallon. In downtown Blairsville, the price is $2.41 a gallon. Clymer’s gas price is now $2.45 a gallon on average.
In our region, Westmoreland County has the lowest gas price average with $2.38 a gallon. Armstrong County has $2.41 a gallon. Cambria has a $2.46 a gallon average while Jefferson has a $2.47 a gallon average and Clearfield has a $2.48 a gallon average.
