Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman made his expected return to the Senate on Monday after undergoing treatment for mental illness.
Fetterman checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on February 16th for treatment of clinical depression and stayed there for six weeks. Reports say he was released on March 31st and spent the Easter holiday at home with his family.
The depression treatments came just days after he was hospitalized for dizziness, and while at Walter Reed, Fetterman kept up with Senate events through frequent visits from his family and office staff. He also was hospitalized after suffering a stroke in May 2022.
